Feminine Energy Upskilling: A Busy Entrepreneur’s Guide
You’ve mastered the KPIs, the launch sequences, and the 60-hour work week. But if you’re honest, your business has started to feel like a treadmill you can’t jump off. You’re hitting your numbers, but you’re losing your spark.
In the world of high-level leadership, we often treat softness as a liability. In reality, feminine energy is the ultimate ROI tool. It is the difference between a business that drains you and a brand that magnetically attracts opportunities. This isn’t about lying on the couch, eating grapes all day and hope you’ll make a sale. It’s about upskilling your embodiment of the feminine, so you can lead with more impact and less friction.
Why Modern Leadership Requires Polarity
In business, we are conditioned to live in our masculine go energy. This energy is focused, linear, and goal-oriented and brilliant for getting things done. But, it can’t work effectively on its own. While this doing energy holds the structure, the feminine energy provides the life force, the currents of aliveness and the creative fire that is essential for you to do well and be well in your business.
We all have access to these dual energies regardless of our gender. You can think of the masculine as the framework or the container, while the feminine is the intuitive, nurturing, and circular energy that fills it. When an entrepreneur operates solely in the masculine for too long, she will hit what I call “brittle dryness”. You become uninspired and unmotivated because you’ve suppressed the very part of you that births vision.
Upskilling in your feminine energy allows you to move out of survival mode and into magnetic authority.
The Path of the Feminine: A Reclamation
Below, I share the foundational journey that is essential for any woman looking to scale without losing herself.
If I could take you on a walk through my own story to unlock your feminine energy, it would wind through seasons of burnout, years of over-giving, and the brittle dryness that comes from living in survival mode. It’s been a slow dance back to softness, a reclamation of my connection to the truth that lies deep within me and a reawakening those parts of me that intuitive, and wild.
Too many woman I know to are familiar with that quiet exhaustion that seeps in when you’re living life in overdrive, constantly pushing, doing and achieving. It’s a way of being that so many of us were conditioned into, and it leaves us feeling incomplete. There’s a yearning for something else, something that in my experience can be so hard to name, and you might not find words for it.
That yearning, I’ve come to know, is for the feminine.
Feminine energy is our life force. The fluid, cyclical, intuitive part of us has been pushed aside in a world dominated by linear goals and endless to-do lists. When we suppress this energy, we suppress parts of ourselves. We lose touch with the essence that makes us feel alive. We lose our passion, our spark, our joie de vivre.
I want to share how I began to awaken my feminine energy and invite you to start your own exploration. You don’t have to try harder or add another practice to your already-full plate. Rather, it’s about turning your awareness inwards and becoming more present, more in tune, and more receptive to the wisdom that already lives within you.
Walking the Path of the Feminine
The feminine invites us to slow down. To soften. To trust that we don’t need to have it all figured out. But in a world that praises hustle and rewards perfection, this isn’t always easy. For so many of us, leaning into our feminine feels trying to swim upstream against everything we’ve been taught.
What helped me begin was recognising where I was stuck. I paid attention to those areas where my days were dominated by my masculine go energy of doing, planning, and striving. I noticed how often I pushed through and ignored the physical signals from my body that said “enough now”, or the whispers of my inner knowing to guide me.
Here’s the thing: when we ignore that inner voice, it doesn’t go away. It simply gets quieter until we can barely hear it. That’s when we start to feel numb, uninspired, disconnected. But what I’ve also learned is that the feminine doesn’t disappear; she waits for us to return to ourselves, and to her.
Beyond the Hustle: How to Increase Feminine Energy as a Leader
If you are searching for how to increase feminine energy, you might expect a list of self-care rituals. But for the ambitious woman, learning how to be in your feminine energy is actually about reclaiming your creative power from the grind of over-drive.
In those moments of survival and over-giving, it’s easy to lose touch with what lights us up. We become so focused on managing everything that we forget to nurture ourselves. But working with your feminine is like lovingly tending a garden. You need to water the soil, prune what no longer serves, and trust the cycles of growth.
In business, pruning looks like finally letting go of that wish-you-didn’t-have-them- client. The one who pays the least but demands the most, like tapping blood from the rock and to make room for the high-level partnerships you actually deserve, and should have. If you don’t prune the energy-drainers, you have no room for new growth.

Five Ways to Reclaim Your Feminine Energy
These practices have been foundational for me as I’ve reconnected to my feminine energy and feminine power. And I share them with you here in no particular order so you can explore what resonate most with you.
1. Speak Your Truth to Yourself
We’ve been taught to hide our emotions, to be strong, to not let our feelings get in the way. But those feelings and emotions (especially the messy, inconvenient ones) are powerful messengers. Suppressing them takes energy, and over time, that suppression can drain us.
Start by asking yourself:
- What am I ashamed of?
- What am I denying?
- What do I feel that I don’t want anyone to know?
Write it down, not to fix or judge it, but simply to witness it, to let it surface. There’s a real magic in acknowledging your truth. It frees up energy you didn’t realise was tied up in hiding that you can now use for something else.
2. Honour Your Truth with Others
Speaking your truth out loud can feel terrifying, especially if you’re used to keeping the peace or avoiding conflict. And, you can share your authentic truth truth-telling without being confrontational.
When I began to practice this, I noticed a direct link between my heart and my voice. The more I nurtured myself with love and compassion, the easier it became to speak from that place. If you’re struggling to share your truth, start by opening your heart to yourself. Offer yourself the love you wish others would give you.
One way to begin is with small moments of honesty. For example, the next time someone asks how you’re doing, resist the urge to say “fine” if that isn’t true. Share a little more, even if it feels vulnerable. This is how we begin to honour ourselves and invite deeper connection into our lives as we unlock our feminine energy.
3. Treat Yourself Like a Queen
This isn’t about bubble baths or spa days (though those are lovely). It’s about addressing the voice inside you that says you’re not enough that has been planted there through thousands of years of conditioning.
I find working with archetypes is a great tool when we want to embody a new behaviour more easily. For example, by feeling into the nature of the archetype of queen you can take on what resonates with you and begin to live that into the world.
Take a moment to reflect: What does the archetype of a queen represent to you? Self-leadership? Sovereignty? Self-respect? Choose one quality you want to embody and commit to practising it.
For me, this looked like challenging my inner critic who always found fault with me. I began asking myself how would my Queen archetype speak to herself? How would she show up in her life? How does she teach others to treat her based on the way she treats herself?
Over time, embodying my queen archetype helped changed the tone of my inner critic to being more compassionate, supportive and understanding.
4. Creating Space for Feminine Flow
Creating space for your feminine flow doesn’t mean stepping away from your responsibilities or giving up on your goals. It’s about shifting how you approach life. When we create space, we can breathe again. That’s when things start to feel clearer and easier.
Here are some questions that I find helpful when I feel the strangling hold of not enough space, time or energy:
What can I release today to feel more spacious? Where can I shift from urgency to intention?
These small inquiries help you reconnect with the feminine power within so that you can feel more aligned as you move through your day.
5. Embrace your natural rhythm and cycles
Our emotions aren’t static, especially as women whose cycles impact our energy and mood. You may notice times when you feel vibrant and others when you feel introspective or low. Instead of resisting these fluctuations, see them as part of your natural rhythm.
There is so much power available to us when we begin to live in honour of our natural rhythm. For example, during times when your emotions feel heavier, ask yourself: How can I support myself right now? This might mean slowing down, resting, or simply allowing yourself to feel without judgment. Honouring your emotional cycles is a powerful way to reconnect with your feminine energy.

Everyone has their own unique journey of how to move from force to flow. Use these diagnostic questions to see where your energy is currently impacting your business results:
- Does your marketing feel like a “chore” (masculine/linear) or a “contribution” (feminine/radiant)?
- When a new opportunity arises, do you check your spreadsheet first (logic), or do you feel the expansion/contraction in your body first (intuition)?
- Are you over-giving to keep the peace with difficult clients, or are you holding the Queen Archetype standard for how your time is valued?
- Do you feel brittle and dry at the end of a project, or do you feel a sense of joie de vivre regardless of the numbers?
From Doing to Embodying: Your Next Level

To unlock your feminine energy isn’t a one-time action; it’s a practice. It’s learning to push less, trusting what is true will come through for you, and letting yourself be fully expressed.
You can simply look to Mother Nature for inspiration and guidance. See how she cycles through her seasons. How everything grows and dies in its own time. How she is fully expressed in a thunderstorm, a volcano, a bubbling brook or the song of a sweet bird. I’m all in for bringing that kind of power into how I run my business. How about you?
