Throughout our lives, we may collect habits that unintentionally lead us away from our feminine energy.
That is why it is so important for every woman who is on a reclamation journey of her feminine, to develop daily habits that increase feminine energy.
My experience has shown me that we are at our best when we can dance between our inner masculine and feminine energies. We want to be able to call on both – and our habitual actions can support us in this.
Habit 1 Morning Connection with Feminine Energy
The way that we start our day is usually a good predictor of how the day will unfold. In those very first moments of the day, before you can get distracted by the outside world, connect to your feminine first. Connect to your internal world and check in on how you are, and what you need. It can be as simple as placing a hand on your heart, taking a few deep breaths, and checking in with your feelings and needs, to set a nourishing tone for the day.
Habit 2 Learning the Art of Slowing Down
In a fast-paced world, slowing down may seem counterintuitive. But, this is an essential practice for us to feel and understand ourselves truly. You can’t connect very well with your internal world if you are moving at a mile a minute. Slowing down also involves resting. Not the burn-out resting of needing to be passive, but rather intentional resting actions that are aligned with our energy levels. Personally, I sync my activities with the phases of my menstrual cycle.
Habit 3 Change Your Underwear, Change Your Energy
“Enclothed cognition” is a concept that reveals how our choice of clothing directly influences our energy and perception of ourselves. And this perception of ourselves has a direct influence on how we show up, and how we choose to move through the world. Say goodbye to those well-worn undies…by selecting underwear that makes you feel good, whether it’s pretty, sexy, or playful, you’re creating a shift in your energy and most importantly, an in increase in feminine energy! It’s a subtle yet impactful habit that alters the way you carry yourself and how you engage with the world.
Habit 4 Move Your Hips and Reconnect with Your Body
Most of us often find ourselves glued to chairs and screens, with our energy pooled in our minds. We hardly feel our bodies and even find it easy to ignore sensations like thirst or needing the bathroom. A playful practice like moving your hips can reconnect you with the energy centre of your feminine power. Habits like these will increase feminine energy and are not necessary for anyone to see – whether you incorporate it into your morning routine while brushing your teeth, or during the moments before bed, the aim is to bring awareness and intention back into your body and to connect to your feeling flowing feminine.
