If you put productivity ahead of your self-care and pleasure (and you want to stop doing that), living in a more embodied way might just be your answer.
Many women struggle with excessive busyness, and feelings of guilt when they rest or do something “unproductive”.
This is a direct consequence of living in a hyper-masculine world.
There is even a term for it – internalised capitalism.
Living in an embodied way counters this internalised capitalism and allows us to be in fuller self-expression.
But, there is an even darker consequence of putting productivity first and that is often our self-worth is directly tied to our output and what we do.
In this video, I unpack how our self-care suffers as a result and how the practice of living more embodied can change that.
